Review of the 4-Day Canadian Rockies and Banff Classic Tour from Vancouver, with route details, costs, hotels, tips, and honest advice.

“Not enough words to say how incredible this trip is! However it is not suitable for kids unless they are used to sitting and behaving with indoor voices for long periods at a time. And please sit at the back of the bus if you bring them. There is a choice between the classic and explorer. I chose classic because of the extra stops. I was hoping for Chris to be our guide after reading all the reviews but we got the wonderful Ben and I am so grateful! He went above and beyond with stories, power points, dvds, music, cookies and sound effects. We were well cared for with…”

A practical review of the 4-day Canadian Rockies tour from Vancouver, covering sights, hotels, language, meals, costs, pace, and who should book.

“The scenes are worth the long distance travelling of 8 to 12 hrs ride. Enough time to roam, some can b longer. Except for the grumpy n unhelpful driver, ride is not pleasant w many sudden brakes n running on the lines at the side of the road. Time taken up for 3 languages is too long. Not much info given though. Just intro of place, not much info though. Not very happy w seating arrangements as seats was frequently placed far back.”

“Even the cold didnt take from the excitement of seeing the lights! The naked eye could only see tints of colour, but the camera picked up the colours beautifully. We did see the colours dancing across the sky. The huts were welcome with the fire, hot drinks, snacks and tables. Even some games to play if you wanted to. The Tee-pee was good roasting marshmallows too. Hosts were informative and helpful especially with camera settings. Tripods were provided as were folding chairs. A great tour!”

A practical review of Algonquin Park’s four-day canoe camping trip, with wildlife, campfire meals, a sauna, and backcountry tips.

“We absolutely loved our recent canoe/camping trip with Baz. He was such an amazing host. Really knowledgeable, interesting and a very caring person, who also cooked incredibly tasty meals with minimal equipment. We loved the canoeing and obviously the scenery but also the times we spent with the other members of the group and Baz chatting, preparing food, cutting wood and making fires. Baz even made a sauna in a tent one afternoon which was very unexpected and inventive. We didn't see and Moose or beavers but it really didn't spoil the experience.”
