“This tour was really great. Our guide, Chantal, was fun, enthusiastic, and very knowledgeable. She was dressed in period costume and guided our small group as Marie Rollet (recognized as the first female French farmer and teacher in Quebec, alongside her husband Louis Hébert). I'm from Boston and see these sorts of groups all the time, trailing after some over-heated grad student dressed as one founding father or another.
